Season 3 Stuff

So, I’ve been hard at work on season 3 of Hidden and I’m just under 16,000 words into my NaNoWriMo novel, so I’m pretty happy. I thought I’d do a quick update about the upcoming season.

First, I have an inspiration board for season 3 up on Pinterest. It looks a little….dark.

 

Secondly, there will be some formatting changes for this season. While the bulk of the story will be told first-person from Molly’s POV, I think it’s equally important to keep tabs on what’s happening elsewhere. So, we’ll have weekly “interlude” episodes, which will probably post on Saturdays. These are in addition to the regular three weekly episodes (we’ll be sticking to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule, since everyone seems used to that.) The interlude episodes will likely be around 1,000 words long (instead of my usual 1,500 – 2,500) and could be from anyone’s POV. I hope you guys like them — I’m having fun writing them so far. The first went up yesterday, in case you missed. it.

Lastly, the first episode of season 3 will go up on Monday, December 2nd. Three more weeks. I’m dying to start posting again, but this little break has already been a good thing, as it’s given me time to really plan out some of the trickier aspects of the upcoming season. A lot of the seemingly unrelated stuff that has happened so far, some of the things that people have asked me “whatever happened to _____?” will be coming together for this season.

OK. That’s it for now. I’ll probably have at least one more interlude post up between now and 12/2, because you know…I just can’t seem to stay away. 🙂
